The Palestinian International Cooperation Agency signed a cooperation agreement with Palestine Broadcasting Corporation in Ramallah. This agreement aims at establishing cooperative relations for the implementation of many programs and activities related to radio, television and media in general.
The agreement has been signed between PICA Director General, Imad Al-Zuhairi, and PBC Director General His Excellency, Minister Ahmad Assaf.
This agreement represents a common ground between the two parties to work with the local, Arab and international parties to enhance development and investment in the Palestinian human resources. The terms of the agreement stipulate that the two parties shall contribute to the development of the working staff in the field of radio and television, open work prospects for Palestinian cadres, and facilitate joint work at the bilateral, tripartite and multilateral level to carry out development and entrepreneurial projects in cooperation with related countries, institutions and agencies. The agreement also included participation in Arab and international consultative delegations in the media field.
PICA Director General, Imad Al-Zuhairi, expressed PICA pride in the local, regional and international achievements of Palestine Broadcasting Corporation and its main role in supporting the development process that aims at building an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
It is worth mentioning that one of PBC cadres is currently in a media training mission implemented by PICA in the Republic of Mali to strengthen the partnership between the two parties and as part of PBC contribution to implement PICA work abroad.
