| Background: | The Project was launched 3 years ago, and included multiple programs in the field of agriculture, as well as establishing the new relations with the Indonesian government and the Singosari AI Center highlighted the importance of signing a memorandum of understanding to strengthen the new relations and put the upcoming projects into context. Implementing this project under the ISDB framework of Reverse Linkage and triangular Cooperation, PICA invited the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture and initiated for this triangular cooperation. | |
| Purpose: | Providing a forum for exchange of views and ideas related to the management of livestock development program between Indonesia, Palestine and Tunisia under the IsDB-Financial support. To promote the development on the South-South and triangular Cooperation framework. | |
| Activities & Outputs: | 1- Obtaining the knowledge on Indonesian Policy of livestock and animal Health and the development priority in 2025. 2- The management of Frozen Semens Production and distribution. 3- The management of Dairy cooperative. 4- The management of AI Services in Malang regency for Beef Cattle. | |
| Working Framework: | Based on the mission funding, the Tunisian delegation expressed their enthusiasm to build technical cooperation to develop livestock sector in Tunisia, especially ruminant semen cryopreservation and sexed semen production. PICA will coordinate with the IsDB to organize a diagnostic mission to ascertain the livestock technical capacity of the Republic of Tunisia, the outcome of this mission is expected to provide the necessary data to build the project under Reverse linkage and triangular cooperation attended by the Palestinian and Indonesian experts. | |
