
The Palestinian International Cooperation Agency (PICA) represented the State of Palestine at the Fifth Meeting of International and Technical Cooperation Agencies of the Member States of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), held in Tunis from December 11 to 13. This significant event was jointly organized by the IsDB and the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation and saw the active participation of member states and observer countries.
The meeting served as an invaluable platform for fostering collaboration and building partnerships among member states. Over two intensive days, participants engaged in constructive dialogue on leveraging South-South and Triangular Cooperation frameworks to unlock the potential of Global South countries. The discussions emphasized mobilizing shared resources and expertise to address developmental challenges collectively.
A key outcome of the meeting was the consensus to develop a joint action plan for the coming year, aimed at launching impactful development projects across member states. This initiative underscores a unified commitment to sustainable development and a shared vision for strengthening cooperation within the Global South.
Through its participation, PICA reaffirmed its dedication to advancing international partnerships and showcasing the capabilities of Palestine as a proactive contributor to global development efforts.
