
A collaborative forum was recently held to enhance cooperation between Indonesia, Tunisia, the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), and PICA, under the framework of South-South and Triangular Cooperation. The initiative aimed to foster knowledge exchange and innovation in livestock development, emphasizing sustainable growth in the sector. Key activities included insights into Indonesia’s livestock and animal health policies, with a focus on development priorities for 2025, alongside advanced practices in frozen semen production, distribution, and artificial insemination services for beef cattle in Malang Regency. Additionally, the forum explored the effective management of dairy cooperatives, showcasing Indonesia’s expertise in livestock advancement. The event underscored the potential for shared learning and cooperation among developing nations, facilitated by IsDB’s financial support.
