As part of strengthening the relationship between Palestine and Senegal, The Palestinian International Cooperation Agency conducted a visit to Senegal to discuss a cooperation programme between the two countries.
PICA discussed possibilities of implementing bilateral projects in specific areas, as well as dispatching Palestinian experts to Senegal to transfer the Palestinian knowledge and experience in the fields of health, and education. PICA agreed
PICA will send Palestinian doctors to share their experience and knowledge in the areas of telemedicine, digitization of the health system and development of health standards, as well as training of medical staff on maternal and child health with a view to prevent maternal and infant mortality.
PICA will also bring Palestinian Professors working in Palestinian universities to teach Arabic courses in Senegal universities to contribute to the operation and management of the City of Knowledge.
