The Palestinian International Cooperation Agency participates in the Conference “Sustainable Development under Crisis and Conflict conditions (IDSDCC)” organized by Birzeit University and presents a research paper.
The Director General of the Palestinian International Cooperation Agency, Imad Al-Zuhairi, presented a research paper prepared by the Agency’s team at the International Conference “Sustainable Development under Crisis and Conflict Conditions” held in Birzeit University. The Agency participated in the “Partnership and Cooperation for Sustainable Development” session and highlighted the Agency’s work abroad and its role in promoting South-South cooperation through the use of human resources and diverse expertise in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
During the meeting, the agency presented its main strategic objectives which operate within three mechanisms: bilateral cooperation with its partners from States as part of South-South cooperation, triangular cooperation including third-party intervention, assistance, technical support, development cooperation and multilateral cooperation through international organizations, including the United Nations, the European Union, the African Union and others.
It is also worth mentioning that the Agency participated in the session as a speaker among several local and international speakers representing local and international bodies such as GIZ, Palestinian Monetary Authority, the University of Abdelmalek Saadi, and the European Union.
In its research paper, the Agency emphasized its determination and ability to achieve its vision of solidarity through development for a more resilient world through cooperation with its partners, its commitment to the cause of human and national development as well as voluntary action and collective action for common interests.
