PICA, represented by diplomatic attaché Lamar Kirresh, participated in the regional workshop for South South and triangular cooperation held in Tunisia. The workshop was attended by representatives from several countries including: Algeria, Tunisia, Mauritania, Morocco, Guinea, Cote D’Ivoire, Cameroon, Comoros, Burkina Faso, Togo and Senegal.
The workshop, organized by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation (ATCT), the South Center in Geneva and the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) in New York, discussed the importance of enhancing South-South cooperation and reverse linkage mechanisms and the need to exchange expertise between countries of south to implement sustainable development goals in line with the 2030 Agenda.
PICA representative made a presentation about the programs falling within the framework of triangular and South-South cooperation.
