PICA Implements its Second Phase Development Programs in Countries of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS)

In cooperation with the Palestinian Ministry of Health and the Embassy of the State of Palestine to Venezuela, PICA implements its second phase of development programs in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The program comes as an outcome of the cooperation agreements signed between the parties in 2017.

PICA Director General, Imad Al-Zuhairi, stated that the medical and agricultural programs are actual contribution by the State of Palestine to promote SDGs and its 2030 agenda and South-South and Triangular Cooperation.

The program is based on transferring of Palestinian knowledge in specific fields. Palestinian capabilities are adapted to the expressed needs and priorities of the beneficiary , DG Al-Zuhairi elaborated.

In addition to cooperation in the medical and livestock fields, PICA mission aims at developing vegetable production systems to improve the quality and quantity of agricultural products.

It is worth mentioning that the Palestinian medical delegation includes specialized doctors in laparoscopic surgery, orthopedics, pediatric and emergency.
