Background: | This program was implemented upon an official request from the Zimbabwean government, to conduct a training program for the benefit of media officers from different governmental and official entities. The program was conducted by six Palestinian experts in the period of 10 days, delivering the following topics: Media ethics, Digital Storytelling (shooting, production and directing), Investigative Journalism and The responsible use of social media platforms. | |
Purpose: | Strengthening the Zimbabwean Media Sector prior to the General Elections. | |
Activities & Outputs: | Six Palestinian experts implemented the training program in a period of 10 days, delivering various topics through three main workshops and benefitting more than 250 trainees. | |
Working Framework: | Technical cooperation to promote SSC and bilateral cooperation through expertise exchange to strengthen the Zimbabwean Media Sector. | |
Beneficiaries: | 1- Printed Media officials –official Zimbabwean newspapers. 2- Broadcasting journalists-Official Zimbabwean TV and broadcasting officers. 3- ZANU-PF party media and social media officers. |
