The Palestinian International Cooperation Agency (PICA) Takes part in the South-South and Triangular Cooperation Workshop in Tunisia

‏PICA, represented by diplomatic attaché Lamar Kirresh, participated in the regional workshop for South South and triangular cooperation held in Tunisia. The workshop was attended by representatives from several countries including: Algeria, Tunisia, Mauritania, Morocco, Guinea, Cote D’Ivoire, Cameroon, Comoros, Burkina Faso, Togo and Senegal.

‏The workshop, organized by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation (ATCT), the South Center in Geneva and the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) in New York, discussed the importance of enhancing South-South cooperation and reverse linkage mechanisms and the need to exchange expertise between countries of south to implement sustainable development goals in line with the 2030 Agenda.

‏PICA representative made a presentation about the programs falling within the framework of triangular and South-South cooperation.

‏PICA is proud of its partnership with IsDB, UNOSSC, the South Center, ATCT and its cooperation with the agencies and countries involved in the works of this important workshop.
