Represented by its Director General, Imad Al-Zuhairi, PICA signed a cooperation agreement with MOHE represented by H.E Minister Mahmoud Abu Mowais. The agreement aims at enhancing higher education programs while implementing related SDGs.
The agreement includes dispatching of Palestinian expertise to different countries of the world within bilateral and trilateral frameworks and reverse linkage mechanisms.
The agreement includes also programs and activities based on knowledge sharing pertaining to higher education and scientific research. Both parties agreed on an annual work plan that will serve their common interests.
H.E Dr. Mahmoud Abu Mowais stressed the importance of this partnership and stated that transferring Palestinian knowledge and international programs will reflect responsibility and solidarity vis a vis the international community. H.E Abu Mowais also stated that MOHE is fully prepared to contribute in implementing the agreed programs.
Al-Zuhairi affirmed PICA readiness to realize a number of development programs in partnership with MOHE, considering the agreement as a bridge that will enable the achievement of the desired goals of the State of Palestine.
This agreement comes in harmony with the efforts of the State of Palestine to realize the objectives of the agreed United Nations sustainable development goals (SDGs).
