Ramallah – H.E. President Mahmoud Abbas received PICA Annual Report 2018 from Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, H.E Dr. Riad Malki, at the presidential HQ in Ramallah during a visit by PICA team led by its Director General Imad Al-Zuhairi.
H.E. President Mahmoud Abbas praised PICA work which proved the effectiveness of the State of Palestine and its positive contribution to the international community through its missions and programs related to development. H.E. President Abbas stated that all Palestinian Ministries must cooperate and coordinate and contribute to the efforts of the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in general and PICA in particular in order to achieve the set goals.
H.E Dr. Riad Malki stated that PICA was an idea two years ago but today it is a reality that serves as the main public diplomacy tool of the State of Palestine. Dr. Malki added that PICA implements development missions and programs in different countries around the world, inspired by the concept of “solidarity through development for a more resilient world”.
It is worth mentioning that PICA currently has projects and missions in 35 countries around the world, contributing to the development of various fields including: education, health, agriculture, IT and others.
