Maseru – PICA concluded its first development program in the Kingdom of Lesotho in the field of communications, in cooperation with the Embassy of the State of Palestine in South Africa. PICA delegation implemented a capacity building program for the staff of the telecommunication and technology departments from 26 different ministries in the field of information security and e-government. The program mainly aimed at supporting the government’s efforts to empower its employees in dealing with the growing challenges in the field of technology.
A graduation ceremony was held at the end of the training for all 94 participants.
PICA Director General, Imad Al-Zuhairi, reiterated the positive impact of such exchange programs in supporting the efforts of Lesotho government in pushing forward their development efforts and in enhancing the services they continue to provide to their citizens.
