| Background: | Establishing startups and building new businesses has an essential positive role in the economy. Therefore, PICA’s strategy included to penetrate this field, and implemented a pilot project in Nouakchott to train around 40 trainees on how to write their business plan as a first step to start new business. | |
| Purpose: | This mission aimed at supporting the ongoing efforts of the Mauritanian government and civil society to enhance the economy by creating new jobs. | |
| Outputs: | 1. Implementing a Training of 40 trainees on business plan contents. 2. Coaching the trainees while they are writing and studying their ideas. 3. Nine projects were presented in the final day. | |
| Activities: | The course was held during five teaching days and additional day for presenting the teams projects. | |
