During a meeting taking place at the Egyptian Representative Office in Ramallah, PICA briefed the Egyptian Ambassador to the State of Palestine, H.E. Essam El-Din Ashour, on its international programs, discussing ways to enhance cooperation between PICA and its Egyptian counterpart.
H.E. Amb. Ashour welcomed PICA delegation headed by Director General, Imad Al-Zuhairi, and pointed out the importance of a strategic partnership between the Palestinian and Egyptian agencies to serve their common interests.
D.G. Al-Zuhairi underlined the importance of cooperation with the Egyptian Agency of partnership for development , within the framework of South-South and Triangular Cooperation.
Both parties agreed on taking concrete steps to establish a strategic partnership that could result in the signing of a cooperation agreement, including proposals for action that include a number of activities and cooperation programs.
Such agreement will serve the contribution by both parties to achieve UN 2030 SDGs and the African Agenda 2063.
